‘Been in’ & ‘Been to’ (Explained in Hindi & English)

‘Been in’ और ‘Been to’ के प्रयोग में अंतर (Explained in Hindi)

a) i) I’ve been in Paris since the beginning of June.
ii) I’ve been to Paris three times.

b) i) How long has Ritu been in hospital?
ii) I’ve been to the hospital to see Ritu.

NOTE: लेकिन भूत (past) में जब हम किसी visit विशेष पर गये थे तो ‘went to’ का use करते हैं ‘have been to’ का नहीं; जैसे

a) I’ve been to England and Italy, but I haven’t been to France.
b) I went to England in 1993.

INCORRECT: Last year I’ve been to England for a month.
CORRECT: Last year I went to England for a month.
