SCHEME OF EXAMINATION (Junior Hindi Translators Exam)

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION (Jr HINDI TRANSLATORS EXAM)

PAPER-I (Objective type — 2 hours)

i) General Hindi

  • Questions: 100
    Each question: 1 mark
    Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

ii) General English 

  • Questions: 100
    Each question: 1 mark
    Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

PAPER-II (Conventional/subjective type — 2 hours)

Translation & Essay

  • 200 marks

NOTE-I: Marks scored by candidates in the Computer Based Examinations (Paper-I), in case conducted in multiple shifts, will be normalized and such normalized scores will be used to determine final merit.

NOTE-II: Based on the marks scored in the (Paper-I), candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Paper-II.

NOTE-III: Based on the performance in Paper-I+Paper-II, candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification.

NOTE: IV: Final selection and allocation of Ministries/ Departments will be made on the basis of the performance of candidates in Paper-I+Paper-II and the preference of Posts/ Departments exercised by them at the time of Document Verification.

NOTE-V: Minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I and Paper-II are as follows:

1. UR 30%
2. OBC / EWS 25%
3. Others 20%
