Hi Maha Gupta Sir, I have some queries :

    1. My total score in CGL 2013 is 409 and I belong to OBC.I just want to know whether there are any chances of getting CSS or nearly how much marks do I need to get in the interview to get in CSS.
    2. My first choice is Delhi. So,whether Asst. in AFHQ would be a good option ?

This is certainly a good score for CSS as this year the vacancies there in big numbers (1267). For that 50 in the interview should be ideal. AFHQ is good, but CSS is much much more better than it.

Thanks a lot sir! 🙂 ..One more doubt- I would be grateful if you could please tell me whether the order of preferences given below is correct with regard to the fact that I am preparing for Civil Services:

CSS > Railways > MEA(now a distant dream seeing my score!) >AFHQ > CVC > IB > Asst (in Other Ministries with grade pay Rs.4600)

Here I have filled only for Assistant Posts so as to prepare for Civils.
So Sir,please provide any additions to it,if any.

Now a days you can’t spare time for reading in office time in any of the posts in Delhi though this is the best order for Delhi. If you can bring DA in your scheme (GP 4200), give it your first preference as it’s generally considered to be a very easy post. But as I think DA post does not exist in Delhi, so take this factor into account.
