SSC EXAMS: Cadre Restructuring

SSC EXAMS: Cadre Restructuring

There are several posts in CBIC/CBEC e.g. Tax Assistant, Sr Tax Assistant, Excise Inspector, Preventive Officer; Examiner and so on. Each post is called a cadre. For several years it was not been structured; means had not been decided which cadre should have how many posts and etc. After the restructuring you see there is a big jump in number of posts. Obviously when there is an increase in the number of posts promotions too are faster. This concept of Cadre Restructuring applies to every department.
