REPLY
This post is SAS APPRENTICE (Subordinate Accounts Services Apprentice). which is a non-gazetted post associated with the grade pay of Rs 4,800. This post falls under the department ‘Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA)’, Ministry of Defence. The probation period is 2 years. After the successful completion of the probation the appointee is called AAO (gazetted).

Remember SSC is empowered only for conducting exams for non-gazetted posts. SSC did not include this post in CGLE-2011 and as well as CGLE-12 & CGLE-13 as the concerned department did not send any vacancies for this post to SSC in those years.
