QUERY: I know the Central Govt. Employees get age relaxation in Govt. recruitment exams. My question is, do the State Govt. employees get this facility for Central Govt exams or do the Central Govt employees get this facility for State Govt exam?

REPLY: State Govt employees do not get any age relaxation in the Central Govt exams and the Central Govt employees also are not eligible for age relaxation in the state Govt exams.

NOTE: Only Central Govt civilian employees serving for at least three years continuously till the closing date of submission of applications for the exam can claim age relaxation. They should remain Central Govt civilian employees till the time of appointment in the event of their selection.

Employees of Bank entities, Supreme Court or any other courts, Parliament, Central Govt undertakings, such as EPFO, etc.; LIC, Autonomous Bodies, etc. are not considered to be Central Govt employees.
